It has now become a tradition: at the start of the Christmas holidays, ‘Belgian Santa Claus’ Koen Hallaert (51) landed at the international airport of Hurghada in Egypt. He arrived from Brussels with 30 kilograms of candy and a piggy bank for underprivileged mothers to spend Christmas there. “A lot of people were already waiting for me at the airport,” says Koen from Egypt.
