Belgian fishing vessel hits rocks and sinks off British coast, crew rescued

The fishing vessel had hit rocks off Porthgwarra this evening and had started taking on water. The four crew members sounded the alarm and then boarded a lifeboat. have been brought to safety on another ship, and brought ashore.

A British rescue helicopter and a lifeboat arrived on the scene, but the ship was already sinking. It is now off the British coast.
