‘Emilia Pérez’ was awarded a Golden Globe for best foreign-language film on Sunday evening. The Spanish-language musical by French director Jacques Audiard about a trans cartel boss is a Belgian co-production: the production house Les Films du Fleuve of Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne and the Brussels choreographer Damien Jalet also participated.
