Belarusian President Lukashenko returns early from Moscow festivities: "Taken to airport by ambulance"

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko (68) has returned to Minsk early after attending the May 9 parade on Moscow’s Red Square this morning. Images show that he is sitting uncomfortably in his chair and that after the military parade he is the only head of state not to travel the 300 meters to the grave of the unknown soldier on foot, but in a golf cart. According to Belarusian political scientist Dmitry Bolkunets, Lukashenko would have fit in for the rest of the festivities “for health reasons” and would even have been taken to the airport by ambulance.
