Beijing and Moscow block sanctions against North Korea in Security Council despite Pyongyang missile tests

China and Russia vetoed a United States resolution at the United Nations Security Council on Thursday. They wanted to impose new sanctions on North Korea after many ballistic missile tests. The thirteen other members of the UN Security Council had voted in favor of the resolution.
