First place in Group B can no longer be taken away from the DFB women. So they should be able to cope with the fact that two players will be out against Finland.
In the last group game at the European Championships in England, the German soccer players have to do without the suspended Lena Oberdorf and Felicitas Rauch. The VfL Wolfsburg duo saw their second warning of the tournament in the 2-0 win against Spain on Tuesday evening. The DFB women have already been determined as group winners before the last preliminary round game.
So Oberdorf, who plays an important role as a midfielder, and full-back Rauch can be used again in the first knockout game on 21 July at the Brentford Community Stadium against Norway or Austria.
