There is a clear reason why Schumacher’s family remains silent.

Michael Schumacher the family has chosen a clear strategy. This is what a psychologist and lecturer working at the University of Madrid says Guillermo Fouce.
Fouce opened up the mystique around Schumacher for the Spaniard to the Cuidate Plus health website. Only small bits of information have been heard about the well-being of the seven-time F1 world champion since he had a serious skiing accident.
– Public figures are aware that their public image can be used in different ways. That is why there are cases when it is necessary to protect the public image, Fouce opened.
According to Fouce, Schumacher’s family is trying to preserve the image of the family man as the way the German is remembered from his F1 career.
– After everything we heard, it seems that Schumacher wants to be remembered as a top athlete, and not as a person with serious physical injuries or challenges to communicate.
– This is how his public image is protected for years. Fans don’t want to create an image of a changed person.
At the same time, the psychologist reminded that the decision to talk about Schumacher is not necessarily in the hands of the family.
– The biggest say lies with the patient himself. If the patient is unable to communicate or decide about his public income, the matter is handled by a person with a legal education who works for the patient. That’s when he decides what can be made public, Fouce said.
