Because of the change – fans attack new signing Zaragoza

Bryan Zaragoza is joining the German record champions early – and has to listen to a lot from the fans of his former club.

In the end, everything happened very quickly – and Bryan Zaragoza was already an FC Bayern player six months before the move was actually planned. Due to the injury to attacker Kingsley Coman, the German record champions brought forward the signing of the Spaniard from FC Granada to the winter break and paid a rumored four million euros in addition to the agreed transfer fee of around 13 million euros. And he has a direct replacement for Coman. t-online columnist Stefan Effenberg is also convinced of Zaragoza and has a lot of confidence in the Spaniard (you can read more about it here).

The 22-year-old’s debut for Munich is eagerly awaited. But in the meantime, Zaragoza was viciously attacked – by the fans of his former club. Because they didn’t agree at all with an emotional farewell message that Zaragoza posted on Instagram after his move. “The time has come for us to part ways,” Zaragoza wrote. But he wanted to “express all my gratitude” to the fans. He “achieved everything in Granada that I dreamed of as a small child.”

But these words don’t suit Granada fans at all – because just a few weeks ago Zaragoza had emphasized that they wanted to stay with the club until the end of the season. “You have no honor,” commented one user, while another wrote: “Close the door when you leave. We don’t want you here anymore.” Another accuses him: “You didn’t keep your word, Bryan.” Another said: “The person who wanted to stay until the end of the season wrote that, of course.” More angry comments continue, from “Wash your mouth before you talk about Granada” to “We know your word is worthless.” Others insult the Spanish international.

However, others also showed understanding for the early transfer and wished Zaragoza good luck: “At the end of the day, it is the result of the negotiations between the two clubs. It would have been nice if he could have kept his promise, but I respect him and wish him good luck Your new adventure,” writes one. And another user explains: “We can’t blame Bayern or Bryan. Congratulations and good luck.”
