Beau van Erven Dorens responds for the first time to the flopping of RTL Tonight, the ‘innovative’ talk show of RTL 4, which is totally avoided by the viewer. “It’s a bit crazy,” he says.
RTL Tonight was the prestige project of channel boss Peter van der Vorst, but after one broadcast week one can speak of a flop. Humberto Tan says he is very disappointed and Renze Klamer has already turned his talk show half over yesterday. What does Beau van Erven Dorens think of it? He is expected to challenge as a presenter in November.
“It’s a process”
Beau stood in front of the camera of Shownieuws. “It is a bit crazy to talk about RTL Tonight here now in this situation, but yes, it’s just a process. I’ve been in that business and Humberto too and Renze and Renze too and everyone. Yes, you just have to go through that.”
He continues: “You just have to look together: how are we going to solve that, that problem that is there? I think I should just talk a bit on the sidelines, think along, but for the rest we are all in the same boat. We just have to do our best and every day.”

Is Beau in contact with his colleagues? Yes, he says. “Of course I chatted with Humberto and chatted with Renze. They are so professional in it. We will just do our best.
