Beach houses are worth more and more, but Annemiek (52) refuses to sell: ‘Zee view makes me so happy’

The prices of beach houses are rising the pan, amounts to three tons are the new normal. Nevertheless, potential buyers stand in line for a Tiny House on the Dutch ‘Gold Coast’. “It is really a paradise,” says Annemiek den Uil, who would rather sell her Amsterdam apartment than to do her ‘wooden hut’ on the beach.
