The fire quickly spread and spread to an adjacent house. The smoke development was visible in the wide area. Together with the fire brigade, Snijders managed to prevent the fire from spreading further. With his shovel he pulled two beach houses away from the burning and unaffected houses, preventing the fire from spreading any further.
Clearing debris
Snijders is also present on the beach today to help with the aftermath of the fire. “A total of two houses are a total loss,” he says. He also helps clean up debris and insulation material, so that it cannot spread across the beach.
No one was injured in the fire. The safety region could not yet say what led to the fire.
