Be quick: the last houses in this new residential area are now on sale

In the Oosterheem district in Zoetermeer, construction is underway on the new Happy Days residential area. And what kind. Due to the park-like layout, it will soon feel like you are on holiday every day. And you can live here, because the sale of the last phase has started

Happy Days will be located on the former industrial estate next to the Oostweg. Here ERA Contour is building 165 owner-occupied homes and 40 social rental apartments. The houses are placed loosely in the neighborhood in small blocks of houses.

Park-like neighborhood

One of the advantages of this new neighborhood is its park-like character. Trees, shrubs and flowers meander around the houses and the pond, attracting birds, bees and butterflies. Happy Days is also car-free. The roads and parking spaces are on the outer edge, so that children can play outside safely. Residents can engage in all kinds of activities together on the lawns. From a spontaneous badminton tournament to a fun Friday afternoon snack.

Nice neighbor contact

Becoming in the final sales phase of Happy Days 57 homes offered for sale, ranging from four hairdressers to detached bungalows. All houses have a veranda at the front, an extension of the house with a view of nature. A place where you can easily connect with your neighbors.

social neighborhood

For Roshnie and Virish, this is one of the main reasons for choosing Happy Days. They bought a corner house in one of the three hairdressers. “We are social types, which is why we like to have good contact with the neighbors in the future,” they say. “Not that you have to walk the door together, but that you have a good feeling about the people who live next door. That you pay attention to each other and can help if you need each other.”

Peace and freedom

Ilysa and Robbert also bought a house in Happy Days. They fell for nature and the car-free inner area. “Our children will soon be able to run outside whenever they want, without having to worry about traffic. That gives us a lot of peace and the children a lot of freedom,” says Ilysa.

“We can see it all before us: on a sunny day, after waking up, have breakfast in the garden or on the veranda”, adds Robbert. “And then do what we feel like doing. The children can play outside with their friends, we take a walk through the park, spontaneously organize a barbecue, whatever. We can’t wait to live here!”
