BDS Academy beats Gameward in EU Masters semifinals

Team BDS Academy is through to the finals of the European League of Legends European Masters tournament after beating Gameward.

In the first semi-final, which only consisted of participants from the French league LFL, BDS prevailed 3-0.

Both teams clearly beat their opponents 3-0 in the quarter-finals, and BDS has not yet lost a game in these EU Masters. For many, the BDS junior team went into the semi-finals as the clear favourite.

BDS confirmed this role as a favorite directly in the first two games: Gameward was able to keep up and make life difficult for the opponent, but in the end BDS always managed to regain control and play their way to the match point.

In the decisive third game, Gameward initially looked like they could take a game away from BDS. But the team around the German ex-LEC player Steven “Reeker” Chen didn’t let the 3-0 victory be taken away and marched into the final. The final opponent will be determined in the game between Team Heretics from Spain and the French team and defending champion LDLC.
