Ratiopharm Ulm remains clearly on course towards the playoffs in the Basketball Bundesliga after the win against Göttingen. With the victory in Oldenburg, Würzburg moved even closer to the top trio.

Master Ulm celebrated another victory on Saturday (March 9, 2024) with a 91:78 win against BG Göttingen after four defeats from five league games and climbed to a direct playoff place.

The American Trevion Williams was the outstanding player for the Ulm team with a double-double (22 points, 11 rebounds).

Würzburg consolidates fourth place

The Würzburg Baskets also have a good chance of making it to the postseason, as they secured fourth place with their 96:76 (55:35) win at EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Zac Seljaas shone with 30 points for Würzburg, who moved even closer to the top trio.

Chemnitz wins in Crailsheim and stays on FC Bayern’s heels

The Niners Chemnitz remain the first pursuer of league leaders Bayern Munich. The Chemnitz team won against relegation candidate Hakro Merlins Crailsheim with 97:82 (42:39) and remain in second place with 19:4 wins after 23 games behind the Munich team, who play against Rasta Vechta on Sunday. Wesley van Beck was the Niners’ top scorer with 24 points.
