Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – Bayern Munich will also have to do without football professional Kingsley Coman at the beginning of the new season.
The 25-year-old Frenchman was banned for three competitive games by the DFB sports court because of his red card in the Bundesliga game against VfB Stuttgart (2-2), the German Football Association announced. Coman had hit opponent Konstantinos Mavropanos in the face after a duel in injury time on Sunday.
So Coman is not only missing at the end of the season in Wolfsburg, but also in the opening game of the 2022/23 season. The DFB announced that an oral hearing before the DFB sports court can be requested within 24 hours against the judgment of the single judge.
