Oberdorf and Padilla published a photo in which they are about to kiss: it is the second couple in the Bavarian club
A love relationship made official. Two Bayern Munich players, Lena Oberdorf (24) and Natalia Padilla (23), started the year by kicking homophobia to the curb. The two have in fact published a story on their Instagram profiles in which they are portrayed a few moments before a kiss. The two, who have been publishing photos of themselves embracing on social media for a few weeks, are the second couple to be created within the Bavarian women’s team.

The story published by both on social media is accompanied by the romantic song I give you a gift by Spanish rapper Rels B, which includes the lines: “You came into my life and brought out the best version of me. I’m not afraid to tell the world that I love you.” Among the comments on the recent posts in which the two footballers embrace each other there are many certificates of esteem and affection. The fresh relationship is particularly useful emotional fuel for Oberdorf: the German national team player suffered a serious injury just last October, damaging her cruciate ligament for the second time in her career. The relationship with Padilla can help her not to get discouraged in times of difficulty: “I’m starting 2026 with the right people,” she wrote.

There is already another official couple in Bayern Munich: the Danish Pernille Harder and the Swedish Magdalena Eriksson (both 32 years old) have been together since 2014. The two met in Linköping (Sweden), where they were teammates, but they also played for the same club at Chelsea (from 2020 to 2023) and for two and a half years at Bayern. On July 21, 2024, they announced their intention to marry. Both donate 1% of their respective salaries to support the organization Play Proudwhich aims to create a safe environment within stadiums for LGBTQ people. Another way to kick homophobia.
