Robert Lewandowski confirmed on Monday that he wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer despite his contract running until 2023.

Polish media see a lot of explosive power in the statements of the 33-year-old. The press reviews from Lewandowski’s homeland:

“Przeglad Sportowy”: “Lewandowski ignites the bomb: Bayern is already history for me. It is rare that a player of this class and this skill expresses in this way his desire to part with such a big club as Bayern Munich, for which he has played since 2014.”

“Fact”: “There are many indications that the Polish striker will not return to the Bundesliga after the summer break. It has long been said that he could switch to FC Barcelona. He himself recently said that he likes the climate in Spain .”

“Superexpress”: “The shirt was wrinkled because Robert Lewandowski had spent the night traveling. That didn’t take away the energy from him to detonate a real information bomb, which certainly exploded in Munich. Lewandowski said very clearly that he didn’t want to play more for Bayern.”

“Gazeta Wyborcza”: “Lewandowski’s bomb. The striker knew that he would not be able to avoid the transfer question. He repeated that he wanted to focus fully on the national team’s group matches in the Nations League and then promised that he would the question of when he expects a decision on the transfer to be answered after Poland’s last game in June. So we’ll have to wait a little longer for the next installment in this emotional series.”

“Rzeczpospolita”: “Is that the farewell to Bayern Munich?”
