After the clear 4-1 win in the first leg, Julian Nagelsmann meets his old love RB Leipzig for the second time on Saturday evening. The transfer fee that FC Bayern paid for the young trainer last summer was up to 25 million euros.
Before the reunion, things are going well for Nagelsmann and FCB, in the league the industry leader once again greets confidently from the top. RB, on the other hand, has had a changeable season so far, but seems to have stabilized under Domenico Tedesco.

FC Bayern started preparing for the top game against RB Leipzig on Tuesday. After captain Manuel Neuer was initially absent for reasons of individual stress management, he returned to team training on Wednesday. Lucas Hernández, on the other hand, had to stop early after being hit on the foot.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr because of their participation in the Africa Cup as well as Alphonso Davies (inflammation of the heart muscle) and Leon Goretzka (rehabilitation training) were also absent from the most recent units in Munich. The quartet will not be used against Leipzig either.
At the duel on Saturday (6:30 p.m. / Sky) in the Allianz Arena, the teams can look forward to fans, nationwide spectators are allowed again at professional games. The upper limit is 10,000 visitors.
