Two other Bundesliga clubs want DFB defenders

Robin Koch plays a strong season at Eintracht Frankfurt. However, it is questionable whether he will be preserved to the club. Three Bundesliga clubs are excavation at the defender.

National player Robin Koch is apparently in great demand – and is likely to be one of the most exciting personal details on the transfer market in summer. According to information from the Pay TV broadcaster Sky, Bayer 04 Leverkusen has now also joined the fight for the central defender of Eintracht Frankfurt. Accordingly, the Rhinelanders are ready to pull the exit clause of 18 to 20 million euros. Initial talks are said to have already taken place, but a final decision is still pending.

There are competition for Leverkusen from the Bundesliga of all people: RB Leipzig is also said to have dealt with Koch and have already had discussions. In addition, Borussia Dortmund is also reported to be interested in an obligation of the DFB professional.

Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, wants to keep the top performer according to Sky. The Hessen are working on extending the expiring contract with the 28-year-old. The race for cook is open, it is said. He has not yet given a final promise.

Koch has been playing in Frankfurt since 2023, and Leed’s United came to the main metropolis at the time. Previously, he had already played for SC Freiburg in Germany, the 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Eintracht Trier. The son of FCK legend Harry Koch has been part of the German national team since 2019. In 2021 and 2024 he was nominated for the European Championship. In both tournaments, however, he stayed without use.
