Breathe a sigh of relief at Bayer Leverkusen: The injury that Jeremie Frimpong suffered while playing for the Dutch national football team is not serious.
The full-back has slight problems with his left hip, Bundesliga leaders Leverkusen said: “The aim is for him to be fit for the game against Werder Bremen.”
On November 25th (3:30 p.m./DAZN) coach Xabi Alonso’s team will travel to Bremen. Thanks to the historically strong start to the season with 31 points from the first eleven games, Leverkusen is at the top, Frimpong is placed under Alonso.
The 22-year-old left the Dutch national team on Thursday. He only made his debut for Elftal in October.
