In addition to Gießen, the Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt also have to leave the league in terms of sport. “We have to deal with that first. It’s disappointing and sad. Now something has to be changed in the club,” said Gießen’s professional Bjarne Kraushaar on “Magentasport”.

The game in the Gießen-Ost sports hall was decided by a weak second quarter of the hosts. The club only scored four points and didn’t get back into the game after the break. Still, the fans applauded. “Of course that’s a pleasure, but the disappointment outweighs it,” explained Kraushaar.
