After a balanced initial phase, Alba loses the thread

The game initially started very evenly. Alba was behind from the start, but stayed close until the sixth minute (10:12). But then suddenly nothing worked anymore. No sensible shooting positions, no points, no rebounds. At that stage there was a class difference and the numerous Zalgiris supporters in the hall couldn’t stop cheering.

After a 2:22 run across the quarter, the Berliners were left behind (12:34). Afterwards, the hosts regained their composure and defended more intensively. At least the second quarter was won and the deficit was reduced somewhat at halftime.

Shortly after the break, the deficit was only nine points (36:45), but the guests hit back immediately and were able to rely primarily on their successful three-point throws. In contrast to Alba, who remained pale there again. At the end of the third quarter there were 23 points again (46:69). This meant the game was decided early on.
