Basketball Bundesliga: Munich lands loose home win against Göttingen – Bundesliga – Basketball

Bayern can only win 26 games in 34 games and will therefore have a weaker quotient in any case. Munich can still draw level with Bonn, who have already played 34 games. Here, however, the direct comparison speaks for the baskets.

Superior second half against Göttingen

A superior second half and a balanced team performance were enough to win against Göttingen, who will not take part in the playoffs. With only 14 points, national player Andreas Obst was already the best thrower for Munich, but a total of five Bayern pros scored in double figures.

Bamberg qualifies for the playoff

Late on Sunday evening, Brose Bamberg was the last team to qualify for the basketball Bundesliga playoffs. The Franconians won their last main round game against the Hamburg Towers 77:67 (38:38) and thus secured eighth place in the table. In the first playoff round, the former series champion is now up against defending champion Alba Berlin. The Towers have to deal with the Telekom Baskets Bonn. The Bamberg team’s best pitcher was Justin Robinson with 20 points.

Even before the game, Bamberg had reason to be happy. The club announced the extension of the contract with national player Christian Sengfelder. The captain extended his contract, which actually runs until the end of the coming season, to 2025.
