The strong Oldenburgs were able to keep the match balanced until the final quarter before the Berliners were able to pull away with a 14-0 run. Jaleen Smith was the best shooter at Alba with 19 points, Malte Delow delivered his best BBL performance to date with 12 points. The best thrower of the game was Oldenburg’s Max Heidegger with 24 points.
Ulm stays on top after beating Heidelberg
Ratiopharm Ulm drew against the MLP with a 90:74 win academics Heidelberg follows and stays on the heels of the Berliners. However, Ulm (38:16) have already played two more games than the champions.

Crailsheim continue in the playoff race
The Hakro Merlins Crailsheim can still hope for a place in the playoffs. After the victory against Heidelberg, the Crailsheim team followed up with an 87:84 victory in Braunschweig and secured ninth place in the table with 28:26 points. The Merlins are level with the Eighth from Hamburg after minus points, but still have one more game to catch up.
