Barça has made the signing of the Brazilian striker official Vitor Roque, Athletico Paranaense footballer, with which an agreement has been reached. The Barcelona club did not want to reveal the figures of the operation, but it is known that the cost starts from 30 million fixed euros and a sum of variables that could reach an additional 31 million. The player will sign until the 2030-31 season (8 seasons of commitment) and will have a clause of 500 million euros.
Vitor Hugo Roque Ferreira, born on February 28, 2005 in the Brazilian town of Timóteo, state of Minas Gerais, is 18 years old. He will continue in the discipline of his club, with which he has excelled this season by making his debut in the top flight. He plays center forward.
It is the third signing of the Barcelona club and, for now, the most expensive. He will not be the only one in which he has to pay, since the conversations with Girona to the acquisition of Oriol Romeu contemplate the partial or total payment of the termination clause. The two previous hired reinforcements are Inigo Martinez, who already trains with the group, and Ilkay Gundogan, summoned for Monday, July 17 along with the internationals who finished the season later.
He is the third and will be the last to join the club. He will not appear in Barcelona until 2024, unless Barça wants to bring him to the city and organize a presentation event. The narrowness of the salary limit prevents the fit of Vitor Roque, future replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who will turn 35 on August 21.
