BTSV suffers next bankruptcy – Aydin has to leave early
November 1, 2025 – 3:04 p.mReading time: 2 minutes

No points in Nuremberg: Eintracht Braunschweig also comes away empty-handed at the “Club”. The BTSV is also worried about losing a top performer.
There was no successful reaction to the 3-0 defeat in the Niedersachsensenderby: Eintracht Braunschweig had to admit defeat 1:2 (1:2) at 1. FC Nürnberg early on Saturday afternoon.
Despite a slight visual preponderance, Mohamed Ali Zoma (19th) and Finn Ole Becker (33rd) put the home team from Nuremberg on the road to victory early in the game. The next goal by BTSV defender Kevin Ehlers (40th) came before the break. However, Eintracht’s rush in the second half was not rewarded. Goalscorer Ehlers also saw a yellow-red card in stoppage time (90+5).
After just five minutes of the game there was another personnel setback. Top performer Mehmet Aydin remained injured on the pitch and was unable to continue playing. Fabio Kaufmann came into the game to replace the rail player on the right side. A diagnosis is still pending.
In any case, the outlook for BTSV continues to look downwards after their seventh defeat of the season. Nuremberg moved past Eintracht in the table thanks to the three points and is now twelfth with twelve points. Braunschweig falls back to 14th place in the table with ten points – three points clear of the relegation zone.
The game next week will also point the way for Eintracht. On November 9th, BTSV will welcome VfL Bochum at their home Eintracht Stadium. The Bundesliga relegated team is currently three points behind Braunschweig in relegation place 16, but can draw level against 1. FC Magdeburg on Sunday. 1. FC Nürnberg will face Dynamo Dresden next Friday.
