In addition to the tobacconist’s shop, the entrepreneur also bought residual quantities of clothing and is active in real estate. “He bought vacant properties, renovated them and sold them again, especially in East Germany.” And that means that the curator now also has three properties in East Germany in the estate. “It concerns a home, a former hotel and an empty business premises. We are going to carefully investigate how we can get the most out of this,” says Van Rossum.
Rg Hallenbouw was also declared bankrupt. The company’s activities had been at a standstill for a year, curator Jonatan Faas said. “This is about ending the company, there is no chance of a restart.” The company was once located in New Amsterdam, but was registered in Zweeloo.
The company builds livestock and poultry houses. The curator cannot yet say how much the debt is. Jonatan Faas: “A supplier has filed for bankruptcy as a creditor. The director stated that a German BV as part of Rg Hallenbouw left the company with unpaid invoices and this caused financial problems. It involved several projects abroad for which no payment was made.”
In the second week of April we reported the story about the bankruptcy of the Gebroeders Blomberg construction company in Smilde. After 106 years, the curtain fell (for the time being) on the construction company. During the 100th anniversary, the company was given the title of purveyor to the court.
