Banana Republic expands home collection with furniture and furnishings

The fashion brand Banana Republic, which belongs to the US textile group Gap Inc., is further expanding its home category, which was launched in the spring. On Wednesday, the company announced that it would also offer furniture and furnishings in the future. At the end of March, Banana Republic had already brought its first home textiles onto the market.

The clothing supplier announced that the range will be expanded to include further items such as sofas and dining tables as well as vases, lamps and candlesticks this month. According to its own statements, the brand works with traditional craftsmen in the USA, Asia and Africa to produce it.

The new products will be available from the end of September on the dedicated website brhome.com, in selected existing stores in the USA and in two specially designed pop-up stores in New York and Los Angeles.
