Bally looked to timelessness for inspiration for the FW22 collection, presented at Milan fashion week on Friday. Haptics also played a major role in the collection – softly falling leather looks, solid weave qualities and knitted details gave the simple outfits some depth. The shapes are based on traditional cuts.
The women wore long coats, blazers and wide suit pants. The color palette was kept muted – dark tones such as brown, blue, black and gray were complemented by fresh splashes of color in turquoise and petrol.
The accessories in the women’s collection showed clear references to architectural stylistic devices – shoes with distinctive platform heels and structured bags provided a linear sharpness that contrasted with the soft materials of the clothing.
The FW22 looks for men also rely on sober tailoring, complemented by sporty pieces such as bomber jackets, sneakers and functional bags. Loosely looped scarves, prints and a touch of streetwear aesthetic loosened up the looks.
