PSV left little intact against PEC Zwolle on Thursday evening. Thanks to an unleashed Esmir Bajraktarevic, it became 6-1 in the Philips Stadium. Ricardo Pepi also scored two goals. In the first half, a number of supporters also made themselves heard in protest against imposed stadium bans.
Peter Bosz made quite a few changes to the line-up. Before the match it became clear that Ismael Saibari is injured, he will be further examined in the coming week.
This gave 19-year-old Joël van den Berg the opportunity to show himself in midfield from the kick-off. In attack, Ivan Perisic and Dennis Man were rested, they were replaced by Esmir Bajraktarevic and Couhaib Driouech. Nick Olij also made his debut under the bar.
Silent protest
PSV took the lead after eight minutes. A measured cross from Bajraktarevic ended up on the head of Ricardo Pepi, who cleverly sent the ball into the bottom left corner. Yet it remained quiet in the stands: the hard core deliberately made no sound.

Twenty minutes before the end, he once again steamed up the right side, after which he wanted to give Pepi another cross, but PEC captain Simon Graves did not let that happen. He shot the ball into his own goal before the striker could reach it.

As icing on the cake, the Bosnian also scored the 4-1. A dry slide from outside the box was untenable for Tom de Graaff.
A little later the 5-1 also fell. In the stadium, Guus Til was announced as the scorer, but the ball turned out to have hit Couhaib Driouech just before the line, after which it went over the line.
To complete the party, it even became 6-1. This time Driouech was the initiator and Bajraktarevic the finisher. The Bosnian finished the match with two goals and three assists.
After the resounding victory over PEC, PSV is planning a trip to Ibiza this weekend to celebrate the championship once again. The selection returns on Monday, after which the match against Ajax in Amsterdam is scheduled for next Saturday.
