BAFTA Award for deaf actor, including Will Smith in the prizes

Troy Kotsur has made history: he is the first deaf actor to win a BAFTA in one of the main categories. Kotsur received the prestigious British Film Award in the Best Supporting Actor category. Other acting awards went to Will Smith and Joanna Scanlon, in the category of best actor and actress in a leading role. Ariana DeBose won in the Best Supporting Actress category. The BAFTAs were presented tonight at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
