Actor Sanna Stellan52, told Ylen on Wednesday evening Half past seven – program about his current condition. At the beginning of the year, Stellan fell on a skiing trip and fractured her lumbar spine.
Stellan said on the broadcast that she still remembers the scream she let out after falling. The people around the actor urged him not to move until help arrived. Now he has rested for about six weeks.
– Now my vertebra has been packed and treated, Stellan said.
– I feel super well and I returned to the theater stage last week, which is a small miracle. It was really scary because I heard that crunching sound. Sorry, I know it’s really disgusting, he said about his health.
During her recovery, Stellan has learned, among other things, to have even more compassion for people who are constantly in pain. The actress noticed how much she has taken her healthy and functional body for granted.

Stellan said that she got help to rest from her family, friends and partner. According to Stellan, for example, the director Selma Vilhunen went to her place to fry an egg for her.
– I haven’t touched the dishwasher or the table because my friends have been over. All kinds of Jussi-awarded Actors have visited me to vacuum and change my bedding, Stellan said.
– It has been learning to accept and ask for help. I belong to those Finnish successful women who say “yes, I will manage”. Now I haven’t been able to manage, but I have had to ask for help and accept the situation, he continued.
He has also noticed that people like to help others. Stellan says that he was in the store, for example, when he had to ask for help.
– Some welder’s bag of rice was on the bottom shelf and my movement was really limited then. I started to cry. I’m from Satakunta, I don’t complain for nothing. I had to ask the seller for help. He was also so happy to help. My friends were happy to have helped.
– So maybe from this we could learn the art of giving and asking for help, he stated.
In February, Stellan said on Instagram that after his fall, he lay face down in the snow for an hour without moving, waiting for an ambulance. He waited in Meilahti’s emergency room for five hours for a doctor and an X-ray. Stellan got home at midnight.
Stellan said that the last time she skied was in high school and stated that the assumptions about skills were tough.
– I blame the tools. By the way, those modern skis are quite tricky, Stellan wrote.
