South Korea was not only able to establish itself on the global pop culture map with the hit Netflix series “Squid Game” – the Asian country has also been popular worldwide for many years musically. That’s how the boy band BTS blossomed into global stars… but of course the K-Pop mania doesn’t stop there.
The girl group Blackpink has also long been immensely successful outside of their home country – not least thanks to their joint song “Kiss and Make Up” with Dua Lipa in 2018.
The colleagues from the US ROLLING STONE even chose Blackpink as the protagonist of the cover story for one of the June issues – and in a video they give a few backstage impressions of the photo shoot with the South Korean stars.
