Full-back James Justin is slowly getting back on his feet at Leicester City after tearing his cruciate ligament last year. For his 24th birthday, the former Foxes regular received a long-term contract extension on Wednesday. The former youth international is now tied in the East Midlands until 2026. Only three other working papers in the squad are valid for that long. Nobody has a longer contract so far.

Justin came from the Luton Town academy, where he made his professional debut on the day his future employers, Leicester City, were presented with the Premier League trophy on 7 May 2016. during his first season at the LCFC in 2019/20, he played his way into the permanent staff of coach Brendan Rodgers. In 2020/21, the left and right-back scored five points in the league and cup before sustaining the serious injury in an FA Cup match against Brighton in February last year.
