FC Twente thought it would become the new number 3 of the Eredivisie. The team of former AZ coach John van den Brom was still ahead 2-1 at cup winner AZ in the fourth minute of injury time, suddenly taking third place. But Peer Koopmeiners scored the 2-2 for AZ in the closing seconds.
