The campaign opts for an accessible approach, with a mascot, ten clear rules of thumb and four short videos. There are also interactive information stands where employees receive practical tips about, among other things, phishing, secure passwords and correct data use.
To this end, the hospital collaborates with SHIELD vzw, an organization that wants to strengthen cyber resilience in healthcare and higher education. “We want to reach as many employees as possible with our ‘Be Ready on Tour’ program,” says Masja Kinsbergen, Awareness project coordinator at SHIELD. “Cyber awareness strengthens organizations, but people can also apply that knowledge in their daily lives. Unfortunately, the threat is real.”
