“Recently I have been very active with things other than football,” says Peereboom AZ website. He has been without a job since the beginning of November after leaving Ajax. “That makes you think, gives new insights and energy and ensures that you continue to develop yourself. Due to the shifts here, we had an open conversation and it became clear that both AZ and I stand for talent development.”
Familiar with talent
“He is a good addition to help our young talents from the upper grades take the final step towards the first team,” says Paul Brandenburg, head of youth training at AZ. “He knows what is required in top football and has held various positions. He has a lot of experience with this target group and with all the forces associated with such a team.”
