The American car manufacturer General Motors (GM) has stopped developing a fully autonomous ‘robotaxi’. The group will soon merge the subsidiary that worked on this, Cruise, with other technical departments. The intention is to incorporate the technology behind self-driving cars into GM’s own models, which is known for brands such as Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick.
