Autistic mother Rico (5) shares a cry for help: ‘He is losing his daytime activities and is in danger of ending up at home completely’

Renske Moes from Purmerend is at her wits’ end now that her five-year-old son with autism is in danger of being left without care. She shared their personal story on social media in the hope that the municipality will help the family. Her cry for help generated hundreds of responses, including from other parents in a similar situation. “I have been ringing the alarm at the municipality for a year, but nothing has happened.”
