Authorities confirm norovirus outbreak on cruise ship in Bordeaux: 80 sick, passengers without symptoms allowed to leave boat

Earlier today, 1,700 people were quarantined on board a cruise ship in Bordeaux. The reason: an outbreak of norovirus, the main cause of stomach flu. Previously, the death of a 92-year-old British passenger was linked to the outbreak, but it now appears that the man died of cardiac arrest.
