In the 6th match of UEFA Nations A League 1st Group, Croatia was hosted by Austria away.
The match played at Ernst Happel Stadium was won by Croatia 3-1.
While Modric in the 6th minute, Livaja in the 69th minute and Lovren in the 72nd minute scored the goals that brought the victory to Croatia in the struggle, Baumgartner scored the only goal of Austria in the 9th minute.
With this result, Croatia finished the group leader with 13 points, while Austria remained in the last place with 4 points and relegated to the B League.
