After the third division game of Aue in Aachen, Erzgebirge fans were attacked in their vehicles. It is not the first incident of this kind in the current season.
After the away win of Erzgebirge Aue at Alemannia Aachen, there was a violent attack on supporters of the third division team. Hooded perpetrators attacked fans on the way back-including vehicles and fan buses.
“Fortunately, there were no major personal injury, but cuts. Two vehicles probably have a total loss,” said Aue spokesman Lars Töffling on Monday. One was still in contact with those affected to ensure that they came home safely. Before that, the “picture” had reported on the incident.
Around two weeks ago, after the game against Energie Cottbus, similar attacks on Aue fans had occurred.
A video, which is spread on the Internet, shows how black -clad people attack a car waiting at a red traffic light. The perpetrators tear the doors and try to damage the vehicle. Fan buses were also attacked. Despite the slices taken, they started their journey home.
Patrick Terjung, President of the BSG Wismut Aue, who gives the buses to the club, puts the property damage to a high four -digit amount.
The people in charge of Alemannia Aachen clearly condemned the attack on the day after the game. In a message it said: “As Alemannia Aachen, we say clearly and unequivocally: These perpetrators are not Alemannia. Anyone who attacks guests attacks our club and our values. They act against everything we stand for – respect, hospitality and fairness.”
Both clubs are in close exchange after the incident. The police have started investigations and plans to publish further information during the day.
