Athenaschool Kortrijk receives 2.1 million euros
This time the money is for the Drie Hofsteden campus. The planned new construction will be expanded with the money. The Athena campus Heule recently received a budget for about 90 places for students with autism.
The Drie Hofsteden campus has a primary school with about 400 pupils and a secondary school with 800 pupils. A new building is planned for the primary school, and with the money from the Flemish government, the first grade of secondary will soon be able to go there, so that extra places will become available elsewhere on campus. Weyts provides money for projects in cities where a shortage of space is expected and that is the case in Kortrijk.
