Atalanta beat Torino 2-0 at the New Balance Arena. Here are the words of Raffaele Palladino, coach of the Dea, after the match
Atalanta beat Torino 2-0 at the New Balance Arena: goals from De Ketelaere and Pasalic were decisive. It is the third victory in a row for the Dea which is targeting the Europe zone. Coach Raffaele Palladino analyzed the match on Sky Sport’s microphones: “I’m satisfied with the result, I wanted a performance of character and personality. I saw a team take the field with the right mentality, the regret is that we left the match alive, anything can happen in football, we had to end it sooner. I’m happy for Pasalic who scored a very nice goal.”

The coach then continued: “The most difficult matches are the ones we will face next: Pisa and Parma are two complicated opponents. Atalanta’s spirit must remain this, the boys are giving me a lot, whoever plays. We defend like a real team, the attackers are the first to sacrifice themselves. But we have to be more cynical in the final metres.”
Palladino also spoke about the injury issue: “We are missing important players: we have Kossounou, Lookman, Bellanova out, Scamacca was missing last day. We also need to find goals from other departments, Zappacosta came close today, Bernasconi is improving in this aspect.”
