The fireworks are stacked up on the quay of Watersport Vereniging Sloterplas. It’s all taken to a pontoon moored at the end of the jetty.
The organizer has been responsible for the fireworks show for several years. Producer Robbie Wels explains what the intention is. “This will be the pontoon where we will soon set up the fireworks. They will first lay out a number of buoys to determine where the pontoon will be located tonight, and from there we will shoot the fireworks. It will be placed in the middle of the lake. On the other side at Meer en Vaart you have a nice view, but the great thing about this lake is that you can look all around.”
