Madame Tussauds in London has a new Zendaya wax figure. So far, the image of the actress and singer has caused mixed feelings among fans.
“From hitting cinema screens and TV screens to buying a house in London, everyone is talking about Zendaya right now… and from Friday there’s also a new wax figure of her at Madame Tussauds in London,” reads the Instagram account from Madame Tussauds about the new wax figure.
However, some fans were disappointed after the wax figure was unveiled. For example, one Twitter user wrote: “Why does Zendaya’s wax figure look like a flight attendant?‘ While another fan asked: ‘Why does this Zendaya character give me hashtag girlboss vibes?
Or: “Zendaya is incredibly beautiful and it’s a real shame that her waxwork looks like she just had a long day at the office and is *very* unhappy with the service at the restaurant where she’s take- Out has ordered and is keen to speak to the managers.”

“She is one of the most beautiful people ever, how can you convey that with a wax figure”
However, other fans defended the character. For example, it says: “The wax figure looks almost identical to Zendaya, I don’t know what your problem is“. Besides that: “Why are people so angry about Zendaya’s wax figure, she’s one of the most beautiful people ever, how are you supposed to convey that with a wax figure.“
Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds also released a statement about the wax figure: “She is best known for her roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as Spider Man, Euphoria, Dune and The Greatest Showman, but the American singer and actress is also regarded by many as a role model and will be also celebrated as a fashion icon for her statement looks, which is also evident in her wax figure at Madame Tussauds London.”
