At least a hundred North Korean soldiers fighting alongside Russian forces against Ukraine were killed on the battlefield in December. South Korean MP Lee Seong-kweun said this on Thursday after a National Intelligence Service (NIS) briefing to parliamentarians. “The number of injured North Korean soldiers is expected to be close to 1,000,” he added. The Ukrainian secret service SBO had previously reported that the North Korean army is suffering heavy losses in the fighting in the Russian region of Kursk.
