The Asser Heavy Metal bands New Dawn Fades and Ophaera were banned from the youth stage at the last minute. The reason? Their music turned out not to fit in with the environment of Torenlaan, where mainly ‘quiet background music’ was planned. And because the bands did not want to make any concessions to their genre, the TT Week Assen Foundation decided to put an end to their performances.
