Director Jan Gerbrand Krol is happy with the additional two years that will be added at least for his organization with the extension of the concession. “This confirms the good cooperation with the municipality and the 2024 and 2025 editions have been financed. That is of course very important,” says Krol.
Krol calls his first edition, this year’s, ‘a dream edition’. He is now busy preparing for next year. “But in the meantime, the big anniversary edition of 2025 is also coming up. That has to be something special, so we can get started with that now.”
Next year’s TT Festival is from June 22 to 30. The TT Week Assen Foundation has some innovation in store for this. This makes the fair bigger with more attractions. “Last year we also had fairground attractions on part of Rolderstraat as a test, and there will be more, in addition to all the attractions on the Veemarktplein. The Ferris wheel is here to stay. The silent disco on the Brink was such a success, that will be a big success. bigger,” Krol announces.
