Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. In the New sticker on T-Online you will find all the important messages about the “red pants”.

Six games before the end of the season it is slowly getting serious for the HSV: the “red pants” have good cards in the promotion struggle with a six -point lead over the table third. On Tuesday morning, fans were able to stock up on the last home game against SSV Ulm on May 10 (8.30pm/Sky, Sport1) – it may be the decisive duel for the return of the HSV to the 1st Bundesliga.

It only took around an hour for all around 52,000 cards in the home area, although the high prices of up to 96 euros before were significantly criticized. Fans without a ticket must now hope for a return or the HSV ticket exchange. If Ulm does not need all 5,000 away tickets, the remaining cards will be sold freely via HSV.

For the home games against Braunschweig on April 11th (6.30pm/Sky) and Karlsruhe on April 27 (1.30pm/Sky), no more tickets are also available via the HSV. If the Volksparkstadion is completely sold out in all three games with 57,000 spectators, it would be a new HSV record. With then 13 out of 17 sold -out home games, the Hamburgers would come to a total of around 960,000 visitors and an average of 56,440. The previous records are only one year old: in 2024/25 the HSV attracted 951,312 fans to the stadium, an average of 55,590 per home game.

HSV goalkeeper Heuer Fernandes reaches special milestone

For Daniel Heuer Fernandes, the 3-0 at 1. FC Nürnberg was not only an important event from a sporting point of view: the 32-year-old was in the goal of the HSV for the 150th time. This brand cracked only seven other goalkeepers in the long history of the club.

Since the German Portuguese moved from Darmstadt to Hamburg in 2019, he conceded a total of 196 goals and was able to end 40 games “zero”. During the winter break of the current season, the “kicker” Fernandes distinguished as “outstanding” and the best goalkeeper of the 2nd Bundesliga.

The HSV goalkeeper with the most missions is Horst Schnoor. The goalkeeper, now 90 years old, played a total of 507 competitive games between 1952 and 1967 – and even scored two goals. Otherwise only Hans-Jörg Butt (21 goals, 1997-2001).

After the 3-0 win of the HSV at the 1st FC Nürnberg, Jean-Luc Dompé has been racistically insulted in social networks. The FCN publicly apologized and sent the author’s profiles to the authorities.

“Such behavior is absolutely not compatible with our values,” said the association on X. “We are already in exchange with the HSV and have apologized for the verbal derailments on behalf of the FCN for the verbal derailments, which occurred to him on social media.”

HSV board member Stefan Kuntz and coach Merlin Polzin welcomed the quick reaction of the Nuremberg. Both emphasized that whistles and provocations were part of football, but racist insults clearly exceeded a limit.

Dompé had decisively shaped the HSV victory with two goals and one template. After a provocative cheers in front of the FCN curve and taunts on social networks against opponent Tim Janisch, hate comments appeared.

Missing regular player Jonas Meffert to Hamburger SV at the away game on Saturday against 1. FC Nürnberg (1 p.m.)? Coach Merlin Polzin was not yet able to answer this question on Thursday.

“We honestly have to see what it looks like for the weekend,” said the head coach of the second in the table. “He was cared for as possible together with the medical department. It was all relatively quick.” Now you have to look from day to day.

The importance of 30-year-old Meffert is in defensive midfield is already evident from the fact that he was in the starting eleven in his 23 game missions this season. However, one does not want to take a risk. “Because of course we also know about the importance of the upcoming games. It is simply important for me that if he – and he will then run with a mask – simply brings his performance optimally, that this does not restrict him,” said Polzin.
